SUMMER IN ST. GEORGE 2024

We took our popular Sip & Support to a longstanding St. George and Staten Island favorite, Beso, and a charming new addition to St. George, The Basement. 

Working in tandem with NYC Parks, efforts and energy continued to be directed toward the Bay Street Wave Median to great effect.  Our beautification efforts reached new heights this summer, with new planters lovingly installed around the downtown and historic district areas of St. George, with funding provided by New York City Council Member Kamillah Hanks and Staten Island Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Partnering with other organizations including VocalNY and Catholic Charities, we hosted a resource fair in Tompkinsville Park to connect those in need to support and services around Staten Island. 

All of it takes hours of planning and organizing, and we could not accomplish any of it without the efforts and time of our members and volunteers who show up to make St. George a better place.
